Overview
Karon Charm Villa is a six-bedroom house in Karon, on Phuket's west coast. A gated, tiled driveway leads to the two-storey house, which opens onto a walled garden where a long freeform pool curves between the lawn, clipped trees and palms.
The ground floor is one open space, with marble-effect floors, tray ceilings and sliding glass doors to the garden: grey sofas and a television at one end, a long dining table at the other. The kitchen is fitted with timber cabinets and has a gas hob, a rice cooker, a toaster oven, a tall fridge and a washing machine.
The bedrooms are simply furnished, with large beds, wardrobes, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Upstairs windows look over the pool and garden to the green hills behind Karon; one bedroom opens onto a balcony and another has its own bathroom. The bathrooms include a blue-tiled room with a bathtub and a shower room under the eaves.
Outside, a tiled-roof sala and a covered terrace with a barbecue grill give two shaded places to eat beside the pool, with the lawn and garden between them.
