Overview
A two-storey pool villa in Kamala, on Phuket's west coast. White walls, timber columns and a tiled gable roof look onto a private pool and a wide lawned garden.
The ground floor is open and light. A leather corner sofa faces glass doors to the pool terrace, and a glass dining table for six sits beside windows onto the garden. The fitted timber kitchen has a gas hob, an oven and an extractor hood.
A staircase with a polished timber handrail leads to the upper floor. Each of the four bedrooms has a double bed and its own character: one has a sitting area with a sofa, and another opens onto a balcony. The bathrooms include one with a bathtub, one with a blue mosaic walk-in shower and one with twin basins set against timber panelling.
Outside, the pool runs the length of the house, with sun loungers on the deck and a covered terrace with a sofa and a solid-wood coffee table. Kamala is a quieter bay between Patong and Surin, with a long sandy beach and a small village centre.
