Overview
Tosca Villa is a four-bedroom house in Surin, on Phuket's west coast, set into a wooded slope above a rocky stretch of shore. The pool terrace, the rooftop sala and several of the rooms look directly out over the Andaman Sea.
The house is arranged over several levels linked by outdoor stairs. The main floor opens through full-height glass onto the pool terrace, with a living room, a long glass dining table and a kitchen built around an island. At the top of the house, a thatched sala with daybeds looks out over the water.
The four bedrooms are each finished differently: one panelled in timber with a balcony facing the sea, one with a charcoal wall and a low platform bed, one in warm brown tones, and one in pale grey. The bathrooms include freestanding baths and long trough basins, and one shower room is built around the trunk of a tree.
Surin's beach and restaurants are a short drive away.
