Overview
A four-bedroom villa on the hillside above Kata, on the south-west coast of Phuket. A long infinity pool runs between two pavilions with pyramid roofs, and from its edge the view drops over the treetops to a curving sandy bay and the wooded hills around it.
The living spaces are built largely in glass. The main living room opens fully onto the pool terrace and the sea, and the dining room is lined with tall folding doors facing the bay. A fitted kitchen, a second sitting area, a bar and a family room with a pool table complete the house.
The bedrooms are calm rooms with dark timber floors and white linen. In two of them, slatted timber screens separate the bed from a deep soaking tub and a stone vanity; another bedroom opens through folding glass doors to the pool and the view. A walled garden holds an outdoor shower.
Outside, a lawn terrace with a stone Buddha looks down to the beach, and at dusk the pool reflects the sunset over the sea. The villa stands among other private villas on a green hillside above Kata.
